Ethnographic Journal: Wednesday
Wednesday, July 13, 2005 We arrive early on Wednesday, July 13, 2005. We have learned that Karen has a tooth ache and will be late. Doug is still nowhere to be seen. I tend to agree with Bart that Doug is the center of the conspiracy. Johan has been passing out Duct Tape flowers disparately trying to win over the affections of our new lady friends. All of us have worked so hard on the web log on this morning. We did stop briefly around 10am for Bart’s report of what occurred yesterday. Apparently, Eddie Money, Eddie Money, Eddie Money and the Love Boat, Love Boat, Love Boat dominated the day Tuesday. I worked feverously on the new music editing software that Johan has given me.10:30 am Doug is still no where to be seen. Tighe and many others have been pacing themselves on laying out her story boards. Others are helping those in need. 10:32 am microphones arrive along with the message that Karen would not be here today because she was on her way to the dentist. Let us hope that the dentist doesn’t gas her. It would be difficult to retrieve her from her Margaritaville state where it is always 5:00 pm. We wish her the best of luck! I stepped out to record my narration track and when I returned at 11:25 am Doug was here alive and well. We continue to plug onward toward our goal of production for the digital stories debuts, which will happen on Friday afternoon. We broke for lunch at noon. To our surprise, Karen has reappeared infection free from the dentists office. So here we are again working toward our goal with music playing everywhere and I still working hard on editing my sound and voice tracks using a new program called Audacity. The left pocket is Jason. Working as busy as beavers we all were. A few people left early. I stuck around adding some fine tuning to my story. We all gathered around Johan’s computer watching the still life animation show. Projects are winding down for the day. So I bid off saying I’ve got two tickets to paradise on the Love Boat. |
