Where to begin?  Well, I arrived about 9:20 in the morning after an hour-long duel with my arch nemesis, the alarm clock.  Upon arrival, I begin diligently working on my digital story only to come to the conclusion that I am not capable of doing what I intend on doing.  The sound mixing is driving me mad.
Doug is nowhere to be found today.  There are whispers among those in attendance about the whereabouts of him.  The story is a doctor’s visit, but some have doubts.  The morning is spent tweaking and fine-tuning each project.  Some come together like John Lennon and others fall apart like card houses.  Mine is of the latter.

Johan is considering changing his major to stop-frame animation.  His cover is blown, he will spend the rest of his formative years helping mech’s learn the Macarena, the electric slide, and the Charleston.  This will be interesting.
Diane woke up on the evil side of the bed today.  The force is strong with her.  Yet, I wonder if she will turn to the dark side by lunch.  She has spent so much time assisting others that she finds herself at a standstill with her project.

Tighe has been waiting on Bill to finish her sound track for the story she has created.  Each person has shown his and her strengths and weaknesses throughout the week.  I have shown levels of frustration and mariner’s articulation while in fits of rage damning the audio capabilities of Microsoft Movie Maker.

This week has been interesting to say the least.  100 cigarettes, forty dollars, eight gallons of gas, twenty-three dollars, jump-drive, thirty dollars, two tickets to paradise, priceless.

I hope everyone has enjoyed the process over the product and will take these skills and use them to share ideas with image to express an idea.  Because that’s what I have taken from this the ability to share ideas with like minded folks and to perpetuate the new idea that Appalachians are modern day intellectuals and not Hollywood Hillbillies.
